Our Liberty Redhawk Volleyball Coaching Team

Eighmy Dobbins

Head Volleyball Coach

Hey Redhawks!! My name is Eighmy Dobbins and I’m the head volleyball coach at Liberty High School. I have been a Redhawk for two years, and I’ve loved every minute of it! My favorite thing about Liberty is the people- we definitely have the best staff and students in Frisco ISD. I teach in our CTE department and have taught many different classes. This year I will be teaching Esports. Aside from volleyball, I have also coached basketball and powerlifting.

I am originally from Argyle, Texas but now I live here in Frisco. I went to Texas Tech and Abilene Christian University; I played volleyball at both schools and graduated with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. When I’m not at Liberty, I like to cook, go to the lake, and hang out with my family and friends. My favorite vacation spot is Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, but I’m hoping to make my first trip to Europe next summer!

I am so excited for this year, it’s going to be a great one! Go Redhawks!

Taylor Ruesch

Assistant Varsity Coach

I am Taylor Ruesch, and this will be my first year teaching and coaching at Liberty High School! I will be teaching health, the varsity assistant for volleyball, and assisting with basketball. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and am from small town Whitney, TX. My husband, Gavin, and I, recently got married on May 1st and shortly after moved up to Frisco! We are so excited to be here and I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you!!

Fun fact about my family, I have 4 other family members that work for Frisco ISD as teacher/coaches!

Callie Pearson

JV Coach

Howdy RedHawks! I’m so excited to be coaching JV Volleyball and Track this year while also teaching Health! This will be my third year teaching/coaching but my first year at Liberty. I’ve spent the past two years at a middle school in Lewisville ISD teaching 8th grade science. I graduated from Texas A&M in 2019, so GIG’EM AGGIES!

Fun fact: This will be my last year as Coach Pearson as I’ll be getting married next summer where I’ll be Coach White!!! I know this year is going to be amazing and I can’t wait to get started!

Heather Whitcomb

Freshman Coach

My name is Heather Whitcomb. I am starting my 13th year teaching and coaching. I am so passionate about coaching. I love watching your daughters grow and develop, not just as athletes, but also as individuals. I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a 7 year old old daughter who keeps me extremely busy, but I wouldn't want it any other way. She is my whole world! Outside of teaching and coaching, I enjoy cooking and crafting.
